    Network
    VLANs
    VLAN Groups

  5. In the
    Name
field, type a unique name for the VLAN group.
  6. In the
    Name
field, type the name of the first VLAN.
    For this example, type
    isp1
    .
  7. In the
    Name
field, type the name of the first VLAN.
    For this example, type
    isp2
    .
  8. In the General Properties area, in the
    VLAN Group
field, type a unique name for the VLAN group.
  9. For the
    VLANs
setting, use the Move button (
    <<
) to move the VLANs that you want to include in the group from the
    Available
    list to the
    Members
    list.
  10. For the
    VLANs
setting, select the VLAN that connects to the non-VXLAN Layer-2 network and the VXLAN tunnel you created, and using the Move button (
    <<
), move your selections from the
    Available
    list to the
    Members
    list.
  11. For the
    VLANs
setting, select the EtherIP tunnel that you created (which appears in the VLAN list) and the VLAN that connects to the host where the VMs exist, and using the Move button (
    <<
), move your selections from the
    Available
    list to the
    Members
    list.
  12. From the
    Transparency Mode
    list, select
    Opaque
    .
The transparency mode determines the level of exposure of remote MAC addresses within the VLAN group traffic.
  13. From the
    Transparency Mode
    list, select
    Transparent
    .
  14. From the
    Transparency Mode
list, select a transparency mode, or retain the default setting,
    Translucent
    .
The transparency mode determines the level of exposure of remote MAC addresses within the VLAN group traffic.
    Mode
    Purpose
    Transparent
The MAC addresses of remote systems are exposed in Layer 2 traffic forwarding.
    Translucent
    Similar to
    Transparent
mode, except the locally-unique bit is set in the MAC addresses of remote systems.
    Opaque
The system uses proxy ARP with Layer 3 forwarding, so the MAC addresses of remote systems are not exposed.
  15. Select the
    Bridge All Traffic
check box if you want the VLAN group to forward all frames, including non-IP traffic.
The default setting is disabled (not selected).
  16. Select the
    Bridge in Standby
check box if you want the VLAN group to forward frames, even when the system is the standby unit of a redundant system.
  17. In the
    MAC Masquerade
    field, type a MAC address.
The format for MAC addresses is ab:cd:ef:11:22:33.
  18. For the
    Interfaces
    setting, from the
    Available
    list, select
    1.1
    and click
    <<
    to move to the
    Untagged
