- On the Main tab, click. The sFlow screen opens.
- On the Main tab, click. The sFlow screen opens.
- On the Main tab, click. The sFlow Data Sources HTTP screen opens. You can view information about the virtual server that is the data source.
- On the menu bar, clickData Sources, and selectHTTP.The sFlow Data Sources HTTP screen opens. You can view information about the virtual server that is the data source.
- On the menu bar, clickData Sources, and selectInterfaces. The sFlow Data Sources HTTP screen opens. You can view information about the interface that is the sFlow data source.
- On the menu bar, clickData Sources, and selectSystem. The sFlow Data Sources HTTP screen opens. You can view information about the system that is the sFlow data source.
- On the menu bar, clickData Sourcesand selectVLAN.=The sFlow Data Sources HTTP screen opens. You can view information about the VLAN that is the sFlow data source.
- Click the name of the receiver you want to modify.
- ClickAdd.The New Receiver properties screen opens.
- ClickRepeat. The New Receiver screen displays default values in the fields.
- ClickUpdate.
- ClickDelete, and then clickOKto confirm the deletion.
- ClickFinished.
- In theNamefield, type a name for the sFlow receiver.
- In theAddressfield, type the IPv4 or IPv6 address on which the sFlow receiver listens for UDP datagrams. The IP address of the sFlow receiver must be reachable from a self IP address on the BIG-IP system.
- In thePortfield, accept the default value6343, which represents the sFlow port.
- In theMaximum Datagram Sizefield, type the maximum size in bytes of the UDP datagram the sFlow receiver accepts.
- In thePoll Intervalfield, type the time period in seconds between successive polling by the sFlow agent of data sources on the BIG-IP system.
- From theStatelist, selectEnabled.
- In the Name column, click a type of data source. The properties screen for that type of data source opens.
- In thePolling Intervalfield, type the maximum interval in seconds between polling by the sFlow agent.
- In theSampling Ratefield, type the ratio of packets observed to the number of samples you want the BIG-IP system to generate. For example, a sampling rate of 2000 specifies that one sample will be randomly generated for every 2000 packets observed.
- Repeat this procedure to set the global polling interval and sampling rate for the other types of data sources. You cannot configure sampling rates for the system or interface data sources.
