Endpoint inspection errors
You can use the Customization tool to customize the
following settings for endpoint inspection error messages that appear in web browsers and on
mobile devices. Endpoint inspection errors are the same for policies created with the
Customization Type
set to Modern
or Standard

Error Code 9000: Default/generic error message | Text | Specifies the error displayed when there is an endpoint inspection error, due to a
failure in receiving a request from the client system or an invalid end-point inspection
data. |
Error Code 9001:
Network Firewall check failed | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a failure in network firewall detection on the client computer. |
Error Code 9002:
Antivirus software check failed | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a failure in antivirus software detection on the client computer. |
Error Code 9003: Patch
management check failed | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a failure in patch management software detection on the client system. |
Error Code 9004: Hard
disk encryption check failed | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a failure in hard disk encryption software on a client computer. |
Error Code 9005: File
check failed | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a failure in verifying the presence of specific files or file
properties. |
Error Code 9006:
Process check failed | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a failure in verifying that one or more particular processes are or are not
running on a client system. |
Error Code 9007:
Peer-to-peer check failed | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a failure in peer-to-peer (P2P) system detection on a client computer. |
Error Code 9008:
Machine Certificate check failed | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a failure in the detection of machine certificate ensuring that Windows and Mac
client systems comply with security policy. |
Error Code 9009: Health
Agent check failed | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a failure in the health agent software detection on a client system. |
Error Code 9010:
Windows information check failed | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a failure in verifying a particular version of the Windows operating system,
patch version or Windows updates on a client system. |
Error Code 9011:
Machine information check failed | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a failure in retrieving the machine information. |
Error Code 9012:
Registry check failed | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a failure in verifying the existence or absence of certain keys and values in the
Windows system registry database based on user-entered key values or boolean
expressions. |
Error Code 9101:
Generic error message 1 | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a generic endpoint inspection error. |
Error Code 9102:
Generic error message 2 | Text | Specifies the error displayed when
there is a generic endpoint inspection error. |
