Creating an address space for Zoom

Create an address space to provide a range of IPv4 and IPv6 subnets, and DNS names using Zoom’s auto-discovery URL.

  1. On the Main tab, select Access > Connectivity / VPN > Network Access (VPN) > Address Spaces.

    The Address Spaces list appears.

  2. Click Create.

  3. In the Name field, type a unique name for the address space.

  4. In the Description field, specify a description of the address space.

  5. Select Zoom in the Type list.

  6. In the Discovery URL field, type the Zoom’s external dynamic .txt file that lists URLs for auto-discovery endpoints. The default URL is https://assets.zoom.us/docs/ipranges/Zoom.txt.

  7. In the Trusted Certificate Authorities list, select the trusted CA bundle to establish a trust in the discovery URL for Zoom.

Note: For additional security, F5 recommends creating a new CA trust certificate to establish trust in Zoom endpoints instead of using the default CA bundle.

  8. Specify the response size limit from the provider endpoints in the Max Response Size field. The default is 128 KB.

  9. In the Frequency list, select the frequency for the discovery run to be performed. The system downloads the endpoint information from the discovery URL and updates the address space. If using the Custom option, the maximum frequency is 1576800 minutes (3 years).

  10. Click Finished.

The address space displays in the Address Space list. The IPv4 Address Space, IPv6 Address Space, and DNS Address Space fields are displayed after the creation of address space and are auto-filled by the endpoints from the Discovery URL list.
