Updating an address space for Zoom and Office 365

You must create an address space or open an existing address space before you can perform this task.

You can change the address space configuration properties and discovery task settings.

  1. On the Main tab, select Access > Connectivity / VPN > Network Access (VPN) > Address Spaces.

    The Address Spaces list appears.

  2. Click the name of the address space that you want to edit.

    The properties screen opens.

  3. To change the Discovery URL, type the external dynamic file that lists URLs for auto-discovery endpoints. Zoom’s dynamic file is a .txt file, and for Microsoft Office 365 is a .json file. Click Reset to restore the default value.

Note: Microsoft recommends generating a unique GUID for each machine that calls the web service. For more information, refer to the Office 365 IP Address and URL web service page on the Microsoft Docs website.

  4. To update the Trusted Certificate Authorities, select the trusted CA bundle to establish a trust in the discovery URL.

Note: For additional security, F5 recommends creating a new CA trust certificate to establish trust in Zoom and Office 365 endpoints instead of using the default CA bundle.

  5. Specify the response size limit from the provider endpoints in the Max Response Size field. The default is 128 KB.

  6. In the Frequency list, select the frequency for the discovery run to be performed. The system downloads the endpoint information from the discovery URL and updates the address space. Available options are None, Every Day, Every Week, Every 30 Days, and Custom. If using the Custom option, the maximum frequency is 1576800 minutes (3 years).

  7. The IPv4 Address Space, IPv6 Address Space, and DNS Address Space fields are disabled and auto-filled by the endpoints from the Discovery URL list.

  8. Click Update.

  9. The Discovery Area displays after the address space object has been created. In this area, you can do the following:

    1. Click Stop to cancel the task temporarily.

    2. Click Start / Restart to send a request to start the discovery task and download endpoint information in the address space lists.

    3. Click Delete to delete the discovery task process.

Your changes are saved.
