Creating a Virtual Server using Per-Request Policy

Ensure that you have created an Access Profile and Per-Request Policy without Service Connect in the Access Policy Manager.

Note: While creating a virtual server in SSL Orchestrator Limited Mode, you cannot attach a Per-Request Policy that includes a Service Connect.

The following steps illustrate how to create a virtual server using a per-request policy in SSL Orchestrator Limited Mode.

  1. On the Main tab, click Local Traffic > Virtual Server > Virtual Server List.

    The Virtual Server List opens.

  2. Click Create.

The New Virtual Server screen opens.

  3. Enter the required details in the General Properties section.

  4. In the Configuration drop-down list, select Advanced.

  5. Select an HTTP profile in the HTTP Profile (Client) field.

  6. Select an Access Profile in the Access Policy section

  7. Select a Per-Request policy from the Per-Request Policy drop-down list.

Note: In SSL Orchestrator Limited Mode, only the Per-Request policies that do not have a Service Connector are listed in the Per-Request Policy drop-down list. Also, the CPM/LTM Policies list includes only the policies that do not have a service connector.

  8. Select Finished.

The Virtual Server is created and added to Virtual Servers List.
