Creating an Okta Connector

An HTTP Connector Transport is required when creating an Okta Connector. You can select an existing HTTP Connector Transport, or define one when you create the Okta Connector.

Create an Okta Connector to define API parameters that allow the BIG-IP system to connect with Okta.

  1. On the Main tab, click Access > Authentication > Okta Connector.

  2. Click Create.

  3. Specify a Name for the Okta connector.

  4. Select an HTTP Connector Transport, or create one by clicking the plus symbol (+).

  5. Specify the fully qualified Okta Domain, for example, f5.okta.com.

  6. Specify the Okta API Token previously generated using the Okta Admin console.

    For additional details on creating API tokens, refer to the Okta documentation site, help.okta.com.

  7. Click Save.

The Okta Connector is defined, and appears in the Okta Connectors list.
