About paused BIG-IP VE auto-scaling
There are certain circumstances under which a service scaling group will pause auto-scaling in your
AWSenvironment, while still passing traffic to your applications. For example, you might have met your
AWScloud resource limit or there's some sort of network issue. Pausing auto-scaling ensures that you won't be charged for resources unnecessarily.
Reactivate auto-scaling after it's been paused
Use this procedure to reactivate a service scaling group that was paused.
After you resolve the issue that prompted your SSG to pause auto-scaling, you can reactivate it.
- At the top of the screen, clickApplications.
- On the left, click.
- Select the SSG you want to reactivate, and click theActivatebutton.
