Resuming Auto-Scaling
There are certain circumstances under which a service scaling group will pause auto-scaling in your Azure environment, while still passing traffic to your applications. For example, you might have met your Azure cloud resource limit or there’s some sort of network issue. Pausing auto-scaling ensures that you won’t be charged for resources unnecessarily.
Use this procedure to reactivate a service scaling group that was paused.
After you resolve the issue that prompted your SSG to pause auto-scaling, you can reactivate it.
-
At the top of the screen, click Applications.
-
On the left, click ENVIRONMENTS > Service Scaling Groups.
-
Select the SSG you want to reactivate, and click the Activate button.
