About creating a layer 3 inbound SSL Orchestrator topology
Layer 3 inbound topologies provide internal users with access to inbound applications. Within L3 topology deployments, traffic is routed to the BIG-IP device.
- Traffic flows into the BIG-IP device.
- The BIG-IP device decrypts the traffic and sends it to the security devices.
- The BIG-IP device re-encrypts the traffic and sends it out to the applications.
