Supported BIG-IP services
BIG-IQ version 8.2.0.1 introduces support for the following
BIG-IP services:
BIG-IQ supports BIG-IP SSL Orchestrator RPM versions 9.1, 9.2, and
9.3
BIG-IQ now includes support for the following services running on BIG-IP
version 16.1.1 and 16.1.3:
You can now discover, import, configure, and deploy configurations for
managed BIG-IP devices running SSL Orchestrator RPM versions 9.1, 9.2, and 9.3. To
learn more about upgrading and features supported in these versions, refer to the
following links:
To upgrade to BIG-IP SSL Orchestrator RPM versions:
- From BIG-IP, upgrade to the required BIG-IP SSL Orchestrator version.
- From BIG-IP, navigate to SSL Orchestrator > Configuration.
- For the topologies, hover your mouse over any existing "i" icons to review the associated message.
- Take the actions specified.
- Re-add the BIG-IP devices with the upgraded BIG-IP SSL Orchestrator versions and import their services.
BIG-IQ supports Zone Based DoS
In this release, we have added support for Zone Based DoS to the
BIGIQ central manager. Zone Based DoS allows customers who would prefer to manage DoS
profiles on a per-VLAN basis the ability to associate a DoS policy to a VLAN, then move
specific traffic to that defined VLAN, and mitigate traffic accordingly. With this
feature, BIG-IQ can now create and modify zone based policies and then deploy those
updates to the BIG-IP devices it manages.
This new Zone Based DoS feature is supported in BIG-IP 15.1.8 and
later.
