Supported upgrade paths
You can upgrade to BIG-IQ version 8.2.0 from the following BIG-IQ versions and deployments:
- BIG-IQ versions 6.0.x and later without a data collection device cluster. For more information, see Upgrading BIG-IQ from version 6.0.0 and later.
- BIG-IQ versions 6.0.x and later with a data collection device cluster, regular upgrade process (statistics collection downtime during device upgrade). For more information, see Upgrading BIG-IQ version 6.0.0 and later with a Data Collection Cluster.
