System webUI enhancements
- This release adds support for IP Tunnels as well as GPRS tunneling protocol (GTP) DAG support.
- Session authentication time is now configurable from the webUI.
- This release allows F5 rSeries devices to be rebooted from the webUI.
- Basic authentication can now be disabled from the webUI.
- The F5 rSeries dashboard has been redesigned to include better visualizations and statuses and to enhance usability.
- The Network Settings navigation now includes an IP Tunnels screen, allowing you to configure GTP, GENEVE, NVGRE, and VXLAN tunnels from the webUI.
- This release provides several additional webUI enhancements, including support for encrypted TLS keys and renaming Auth Settings to Authentication Settings.
CLI enhancements
- This release adds support for client certificate verification from the CLI.
- You can now view event logs and configure secure remote logging from the CLI.
- This release provides additional CLI enhancements, including support for tenant resource validation.
LCD Secure Mode support
This release adds support for LCD secure mode for F5
rSeries systems.
Configurable Group ID (GID) support
This release allows you to configure a custom remote GID for all remote
authentication methods (LDAP, TACACS+, RADIUIS).
Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) support
This release adds FIPS readiness to ensure that future FIPS validation testing can be
done as planned.
Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol support
The rSeries system now supports FIX protocol connections for electronic trading
between financial institutions.
Cryptographic agility
This release adds support for cryptographic agility on rSeries systems, enabling you
to replace cryptographic implementations for httpd and sshd service.
F5OS log enhancements
This release adds enhancements to F5OS logs, including greater usability in the
field, relevant and actionable error messages, and default severity of INFO.
Resource admin user role
This release introduces the Resource Admin user role,
which is similar to the Admin user role but cannot create additional local
user accounts, delete existing local users, change local user
authorizations, or change the set of remotely authenticated users allowed
to access the system.
