New Features in this Version

This release supports the F5 r5000-DF and r10000-DF FIPS-compliant platforms. For more information, see Platform Guide: r5000/r10000 Series and F5 Platforms: FIPS Administration.

  • This release provides several webUI enhancements, including terminology updates, a preview pane on the Tenant Deployment screen, and support for editing interface and LAG descriptions.

  • This release provides several CLI enhancements, including support for configuring IPv6 prefix length.

With this release, users can manage Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) partitions from the webUI.

This release enables users to authenticate to the F5OS webUI using a signed SSL client certificate instead of a username and password.

This release provides support for SSH public key authentication.

Admin users can now configure the rSeries system to use Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) to verify certificate validity and revoke expired certificates.

With this release, users can change partition-wide tunnel parameters (VXLAN, GPE, NSH, GTP-U, GRE) from the CLI or webUI.
