About paused BIG-IP VE auto-scaling
There are certain circumstances under which a service scaling group will pause auto-scaling in your AWS environment, while still passing traffic to your applications. For example, you might have met your AWS cloud resource limit or there's some sort of network issue. Pausing auto-scaling ensures that you won't be charged for resources unnessarily.
Reactivate auto-scaling after it's been paused
Use this procedure to reactivate a service scaling group that was paused.
- At the top of the screen, click Applications.
- On the left, click .
- Select the SSG you want to reactivate, and click the Activate button.
