Common commands for configuring PIM interfaces
There are a number of common PIM commands that you can use to perform PIM routing
configuration. To use these commands, you access the IMI Shell within
tmsh

bigip (config-if)#interface external | Specifies configuration of external port. |
bigip (config-if)#ip pim dense-mode | Configures PIM dense mode for external port. |
bigip (config)#ip pim dense-group | Configures a particular multicast group to function in dense-mode while all other groups function in sparse mode. |
