Download the SFC controller package

Before you can configure service function chaining on a BIG-IP system, you must download the latest SFC controller RPM package from the F5 Networks downloads site.

  1. From a client system, log in to the F5 Downloads site, downloads.f5.com, and click Find a Download.

  2. Click the product line name iAppLX Templates.

  3. Verify that version iAppLX is selected.

  4. In the Name column, click the container name Service_Function_Chaining_Manager.

  5. Read the End User License Agreement, and click the I Accept button to agree to the terms.

    The Select a Download screen opens.

  6. Click the name of the file you want to download, f5-sfc-manager-1.0.0-1543534141+8ba3935.el6.noarch.rpm.

After you complete these steps, the latest SFC controller RPM package downloads from F5 Networks to your client system.
