Before creating an alert server pool, you should create an alert server node.
Create a pool of servers that are grouped together
to receive and process alerts.
- On the Main tab, click.The Pool List screen opens.
- ClickCreate.The New Pool screen opens.
- In theNamefield, type a unique name for the pool.
- If you want to send alerts to BIG-IQ® Logging Nodes, select a Load Balancing Method from the list.
- At theNew Memberssetting, selectNode List.
- In theAddressfield:
- If you want to send alerts to the FPS Dashboard, select the IP address of your alert server.
- If you want to send alerts to BIG-IQ Logging Nodes, select the IP address of an internal Self-IP on the Logging Node.
- In theService Portfield:
- If you want to send alerts to the FPS Dashboard, selectHTTPorHTTPSfrom the list.
- If you want to send alerts to BIG-IQ Logging Nodes, type8008in the text box.
- ClickAdd.
- If you want to send alerts to BIG-IQ Logging Nodes, repeat steps 6-8 for every Logging Node.
- ClickFinished.
The new pool appears in the Pools list.
