Overview: Detecting Phishing Attacks
FPS can detect several types of phishing attacks on a web site. For example,
a common phishing scam involves copied pages. With FPS, once the attacker downloads the site's
web page, all of the download details, including the IP and the download path, are recorded by
the anti-fraud monitor. When the attacker uploads the fake site to the Internet, the BIG-IP system immediately sends an alert to the FPS
dashboard and, if necessary, the SOC or customer shuts down the phishing site.
Phishing detection cannot be applied on SPA views.
