Manual Chapter

Overview: Detecting Malware

You can configure FPS to provide comprehensive fraud detection for various types of malware. FPS has a default set of malware that it checks for, including:
  • Targeted and generic malware
  • Web injection
  • Zero-day vulnerabilities
  • Man-in-the-middle (MITM)
  • Man-in-the-browser (MITB)
  • Malicious scripts
  • Infected users
  • Android overlay attacks on mobile devices
If you want FPS to check for a malware that is not part of its default set, you can create a user-defined malware type using the FPS Malware Configuration settings.
