Overview: Detecting Malware
You can configure FPS to provide comprehensive fraud detection for various
types of malware. FPS has a default set of malware that it checks for, including:
- Targeted and generic malware
- Web injection
- Zero-day vulnerabilities
- Man-in-the-middle (MITM)
- Man-in-the-browser (MITB)
- Malicious scripts
- Infected users
- Android overlay attacks on mobile devices
If you want FPS to check for a malware that is not part of its default set,
you can create a user-defined malware type using the FPS Malware Configuration settings.
